Job Summary of Housekeeper:

A Housekeeper is a hotel staff member who is in charge of ensuring guest rooms are spotless and promptly addressing their requests. This ultimately contributes to a gratifying guest experience and long-lasting business success. The role is open in both full-time and part-time capacities, and work schedules are flexible. With current hiring in progress, interested individuals may apply even without prior work experience. Responsibilities of Housekeeper:

• As a Housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables

Qualification of Housekeeper:

• A high school graduate who attended a vocational school to enhance their skill set.
• English literacy is vital for communicating with colleagues and stakeholders, as well as for creating effective marketing and advertising content.
• Familiarity with the usual housekeeping operations that occur on guest floors
• Having a flexible approach to work schedules, able to complete tasks during morning, evening, weekend, or public holiday periods.
• Advanced understanding of chemical application and ensuring room tidiness.
